JYH Exhibited at CIBF 2025

CIBF 2025 kicked off on May 15, 2025, attracting the attention of the global new energy field. This exhibition brings together the strongest forces of the entire lithium battery industry chain and showcases new trends and cutting-edge achievements in the development of energy storage technology. 

 Battery exhibitors are mostly concentrated in Halls 12 and 14. There are not many exhibitors of sodium batteries, and they are not as popular as in previous years. Perhaps due to the low temperature and good rate performance, most product applications are related to starting power or outdoor use scenarios. Solid-state batteries, or semi-solid-state batteries are more suitable. They are used in batches in the market, but from a technical point of view, there is still a gap from real solid-state technology. 

 There are relatively few exhibitors of lithium titanate batteries. Toshiba is an expert in this field and launched SCiB batteries as early as 2007. JYH also has cylindrical lithium titanate LTO14500, LTO18650 and LTO26650, which can support -40 degree charging, but because its nominal voltage is only 2.4V, it is necessary to combine products to evaluate a more suitable solution. 

 As for exhibitors of cylindrical lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries, most of them tend to be homogenized and the price competition is fierce. But we also saw some gratifying changes in this exhibition. As we all know, these two technologies have low charging efficiency at low temperatures, or sometimes safety risks if not control properly. This is why new energy vehicles need heating pumps to adapt to the use of batteries at low temperatures. This year, many battery cell manufacturers have launched lithium-ion batteries for low and wide temperature application, which can be regarded as making up for the shortcomings of lithium batteries in charging at low temperatures. Of course, this is also due to the joint development with the upstream material supply chain. In the near future, the low-temperature batteries must be widely used in colder conditions.
